

You would be hard pressed to find a person who does not enjoy a bite of a freshly homemade cake, no matter whether if it is made out of chocolate, vanilla or some other delicious flavor. Step One:
The very first thing that you will need to do is to get all the ingredients that are required. Those are sugar, and heavy cream or whipping cream (milk works as well).
Step Two:
Place the powdered sugar in a bowl, and then simply start adding the heavy cream into the center of the bowl while you are stirring around with a whisk or a fork. You do not have to add all of the heavy cream at once, in fact, it is advisable that you add a little bit at the time while continuing to whisk around as to make sure that no lumps are formed, while at the same time decreasing the risk of adding too much cream to the mix.
Step Three:
Once a nice glaze have formed, you can then proceed to add some flavoring in the form of vanilla or perhaps even cocoa powder. Once added to the mixture, mix everything around again until you are satisfied with the consistency.

Making homemade cake icing does not have to be difficult, and it certainly does not take much of your time to make it either. The added bonus of making great icing for your baked treats is that you get to later add the icing onto your cakes. Doing this can be a lot of fun as it allows you to be very creative, so hopefully, at the end, you will have a cake with icing that not only looks awesome but that also looks fantastic.
